Another aspect of how a pre-university pathway is bespoke made for international students is the nature of assessments. Traditional single end-of-year exams are incredibly stressful as a student’s academic career is dependent on performing well on a particular day. In contrast, pre-university pathways spread assessment over end of term testing in a variety of formats, thus avoiding the all too familiar stressful cliff-edge situation that students have traditionally had to go through, and very importantly, replicating the nature of assessments that students will encounter at university.
