ABOUT US
ACCESS TO GLOBAL EDUCATION AT WESTMINSTER COLLEGE BANGKOK
Our Approach is to recognise and respect every student as an individual and adapt our support for them to meet their individual needs, learning styles and ambitions.
Our team of education experts are highly-qualified and have many years of experience both in Thailand and internationally.
We also work closely with our partners to help monitor all aspects of everything we do to support our students’ academic and personal development and welfare and onward progression to leading universities. This includes working closely with colleagues at Kings to review requirements and regulatory standards for Ofsted (the UK government’s Office for Standards in Education), implementing and developing policies as appropriate for local and international students studying and living in Thailand.
Our Approach
Innovative culture
Unlike traditional boarding schools which rely on long histories and heritage, here at Westminster College Bangkok we look forward. We understand that it is not enough to simply have good academic grades. To get ahead, students need to also have an intellectual curiosity, be inspired by the outside world, and to want to make a difference.
High quality teaching
We take pride in our teaching and work hard to offer the best tuition possible. We do this by staying up to date with the latest teaching methods, using the best classroom technology, and ensuring that consistent learning takes place in the classroom. We adhere both to our own high standards, and those set by the Foundation providers, University New South Wales, and Kings Education.
Intellectual
curiosity
Through challenging students’ thinking, we help to develop intellectual curiosity in young minds, motivate students to participate fully, and ultimately create well-rounded and successful individuals. This means that our students are equipped intellectually and are able to operate independently and confidently in the modern world.
Beyond Academia
Learning takes place outside the academic curriculum when students meet and interact with invited professional speakers from the world of work. This introduction to the outside world helps students understand opportunities available in their career paths, and inspires them to achieve success. These sessions are designed to give both aspiration and the skills and motivation to engage in committed and lifelong learning to achieve these aspirations.
Pre-university Pathways
Our students follow unique pathways designed by high-quality curriculum providers Kings Education and University New South Wales, which lead directly to guaranteed places at the best universities in the world. These high-quality pathways are specifically designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills that they require to study successfully at university level. This means that when students start their university study, they are able to cope easily and engage with learning from day one.
At Westminster College Bangkok, we want to build for the future. Through using models and standards that will reshape education, we are creating young adults who are successful, satisfied and happy in their future lives.
