We are proud to announce that Thomas, a student in Westminster College Bangkok’s BTEC Level 3 Engineering and Technology programme, has successfully received an offer from the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University, ranked 4th in Thailand, to study the Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering.
Thomas’s achievement is the culmination of a journey that began long before he joined Westminster College Bangkok. From an early stage, he had a clear ambition: to study engineering at one of Thailand’s leading universities and build a future in a field that combines innovation, technology, and problem-solving.
When exploring his options after completing IGCSE, Thomas was searching for a pathway that would provide a more focused, practical, and career-oriented route towards his university goals. After learning about the BTEC Engineering programme at WCB, he recognised that it offered the ideal combination of technical knowledge, applied learning, and academic preparation needed to support his ambitions.
Throughout his time at Westminster College Bangkok, Thomas remained focused on his long-term goal. Through hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to continuous improvement, he steadily developed both academically and personally. The programme enabled him to strengthen his technical understanding while also building valuable transferable skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and independent learning.
Supported by experienced teachers and a learning environment that encouraged practical application and independent thinking, Thomas consistently challenged himself to achieve more and remained dedicated to his dream of studying engineering at university.
