Our UNSW College Foundation Studies (Thailand) students — Mary, Michael, and Patrick — recently enjoyed an exciting visit to Monash University Malaysia. The trip gave them a real taste of university life and learning, while also helping them explore study programmes, admission pathways, and future career options. It was a great opportunity to experience a truly multicultural and global learning environment, connect with current Monash students and staff, and find fresh motivation for both academic and personal growth.

The day began with a campus tour, where our students explored key facilities including lecture theatres, laboratories, the library, student centre, and accommodation. Guided by Monash student ambassadors, they got an authentic feel for what studying at Monash is really like. Afterwards, they joined an information session to learn more about the university’s programmes, scholarships, and admission requirements, followed by a lively Q&A with faculty and admissions officers.

To wrap up the day, everyone took part in a fun photo and reflection activity, capturing special moments and sharing what inspired them most — from the impressive facilities to the warm and diverse campus community. The visit was both eye-opening and inspiring, giving our students a clearer picture of life at an internationally recognised university and encouraging them to aim higher in their own studies.
